What kind of transmission does a 1993 z28 chevrolet camaro have?

My camaro needs a new transmission, and I was wondering what kind they have?

and if anyone knows any tips on finding a cheap one, that would be awesome. I don't want to stick a lot of money into a car I'm just going to sell.

thanks!|||1993 camaro has the metric th700r4 with lockup torque converter and the f body specific tail shaft with the bosses for the torque arm between the tranny and rear end/differential

if you have a v6 you can use any tranny from 93-96 if you have the lt1 you will need the v8 version form 93-98|||if u have a 3 or 4th pedal under the steering wheel it's a manual. If u don't have either of them then it an automatic and just go to a junk yard spend the 250 bucks to get any part u need and find a car with that tranny then take it.|||Depends on the engine size. Most of those cars had either a 350 or 305. If that's the case, it's either a TH350 tranny or a 700R4. If I was going to sell it anyway, I'd just pick one up pretty cheap from a junk yard and replace it.|||more than likely a 700r4 trans they are pretty common.|||its probably a metric tranny, alot of cars has them.
