Recently transmission fluid was sprayed all over uncer the hood. What is the best way to clean it up?

At my 60,000 mile routine service....the transmission fluid was added but not drained. Because of increased high pressure in the system it exploded all over the inside of the engine compartment. I've heard steam cleaning may damage the electrical components in the car.... So how is the best way to clean it up? The service center who did this has offered to take care of it. I am not bringing my car in to them even for that. So what is the best way to clean baked on and sticky transmission fluid?|||The best thing i can tell you to use is castrol super clean you can get it just about anywhere you can either get a spray bottle or a gallon if you have a lot to do i would suggest a gallon it is about 6.00 at wal-mart this is some good stuff I use it all the time just spray it on and let it sit for about 10 minutes or so and spray it it off with a water hose just make sure your coil pack or distributor cap whichever the case may be a plastic bag works good
