I'm planning on buying a 1995 Jeep Wrangler, the only problem I have with the car is that it has a manual transmission, I can drive manual but I'm not to comfortable with it, so how much for it cost to switch the transmission to automatic?|||More than the vehicle is worth.
Chances are it would require the change in gear, ratio of both axles if four wheel drive, supporting cross members for the tranny, and possibly the pcm itself.
( power control module)|||find the local 4x4 vehicle shop and ask them for price--most of the shops would be happy to do this for you especially if you throw in the manual trans--those 4 wheeler type of guy/gals break lots of trannys so it would be a win-win situation.|||Its not worth it. It would be over a thousand dollars at the very least and auto trannys don't hold up as long as standards do|||2-3 grand
