Transmission?

On a Manu-Matic transmission do I still need to change the gears manualy just without the clutch or do I have the option of pure automatic and the gear shifting?|||It's an automatic transmission with gear selection like in the older classic muscle cars with ratchet type selector on the drive shaft hump between the seats.

Kind of like the "slap stick" in the older Dodge Chargers.

If there's no clutch pedal, it's an automatic. Period.|||I can drive a stick shift!|||BOTH there is no clutch on a manumatic tranny.|||You have the option... usually there's a "T" gate next to the D which you'd shift the gear selector into, and then knock the selector forwards and backwards to shift through the gears. It depends on the car though.|||i think that's th one where U have the option of using the manual up-shift/ down-shift.

my friend just leaves hers in Automatic trans. her car already punches out with good enough performance for her style. did U already buy the car? it should come with this thing called a owner's manual. even if U don't wanna read, most dealers, or the dealer U bought from will be happy to demonstrate on your car. they want U to feel like U made a good purchase.
