How much would a transmission rebuild cost?

I have a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII and the transmission needs to be rebuilt in the near future, how much would this cost? Also how much would it cost for a front end alignment?|||Tranny Rebuild: $800 to $2,000 depending on where you go to have the work done.





Front End Alignment: $50 to 150 depending on whether it is just the front end or a four wheel alignment and of course who you have do it.|||Anywhere from $750. to $1200.on transmission.About $60. on alignment.|||This is a RWD isn't it?? If so, it will have an AOD. Good transmission, just had problems with planetary gears. I would say the rebuild should cost around $1000. You may want to look into ordering a refurbished tranny. Watch the length, they made these cases in a few different sizes....just enough to cause problems with a long drive shaft. Good luck.
